Authorities are searching for three male suspects that walked into a Lewisville pawn shop and killed the store owner.
The incident occurred on February 14, around 9:30 a.m., officers responded to a shooting call on the 900 block of S. Mill Street.
Upon arrival they found the victim inside suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest. He was transported to Medical City Lewisville hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
According to reports, three males dressed in black hoodies and blue jeans jumped out of a red Ford Escape SUV and ran into the Lewisville pawn shop. The suspects confronted the store owner and an argument ensued.
One of the suspects then pulled out a gun and shot the store owner in the chest. All three suspects then fled the scene before officers could arrive.
At this time authorities are working to get a better description of the suspects and vehicle. The investigation remains ongoing.
The victims name has not been released at this time.
