On Monday morning, a man in Beach Park, IL, died after punching a window at a bar because he was kicked out.
Close to 2 a.m., officers responded to the bar in the 37800 block of North Sheridan Road after someone was said to be injured.
When first investigating, it was found that 32-year-old Jonathan Banks, of Chicago, had gotten into a dispute with someone else at the bar before security led him outside.
Afterwards, Banks punched his fist through the window of the bar.
At first, he requested that a friend drive him to a medical facility. However, he kept losing consciousness.
He had been cut severely on his arm and was eventually taken to a medical facility by ambulance in critical condition. This came after he grabbed the wheel of the friend’s vehicle and made the car hit a curb.
Later, Banks was declared deceased at the hospital, and his death was ruled to be self-inflicted by sharp force injuries.
Stupid, drunk and violent is no way to go thru life. Poor drunken fool. RIP.
Did the glass hit a major artery? This is sad. May he RIP! People. My condolences to his family. please act accordingly when consuming alcoholic beverages. Behave like an adult when out and about.
