4 Daycare Employees Arrested After Lacing Children’s Food With Melatonin

Four daycare employees in New Hampshire have been arrested and are facing charges after lacing children’s food with melatonin.

According to reports authorities received calls regarding “unsafe practice” at an in home daycare on the 300 block of Amory Street back in November 2023.

Authorities immediately began an investigation which led to the arrest of four people in Manchester on Thursday.

During the investigation officers learned that the employees had in fact given the children melatonin on multiple occasions without the parents consent or knowledge.

This case is still evolving and it is unclear how long the employees had been giving the children melatonin.

Arrest warrants were later issued for the owner 52 year old Sally Dreckmann, as well as 51 year old Traci Innie, 23 year old Kaitlin Filardo and 23 year old Jessica Foster.

On Thursday all four suspects turned themselves into authorities and were faced with 10 counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
