37-year-old Blake Edward Kalkstein is a chiropractor who is said to have gone from Baltimore, Maryland, to Fort Bend County, Texas, to sexually assault a minor. He had met the child on an online gaming platform and was apprehended.

Kalkstein has been charged with sexual assault of a child. He was taken into custody on July 6 in the 700 block of Dulles Ave in Stafford.

Officials say that Kalkstein games on several gaming platforms. He used one of them to groom and sexually assault a child. In May and July 2022, he is accused of going to Fort Bend County to commit the offenses.

Sheriff Eric Fagan stated that gaming platforms are used regularly for sexual predators who are in search of minors.

“Unfortunately, in our society, sexual predators are using entertainment platforms such as video games to chat and text with our children. It’s disgusting. I urge parents to carefully monitor and control their children’s online activity on social media apps and games.”
