A DISD teacher was arrested for having an improper relationship with a former student Friday.
On March 9, the Dallas Police Department’s Child Exploitation Unit received word that 34 year old Kaylen Cottongame had a sexual relationship with a former student.
Cottongame was arrested and charged with having an improper relationship with a student. She was transported to Dallas County Jail.
Cottongame was an athletic director at Hector Garcia Middle School.
