Jared Drake Bell from Nickelodeon’s tv show “Drake and Josh” has been arrested on two counts of crimes against children.
According to reports Bell,34 plead not guilty to a felony charge of attempted endangering children and a misdemeanor charge of disseminating matter harmful to juveniles.
A spokesperson for the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor’s Office, said the female victim, who was 15 at the time, filed a complaint against Bell with Canadian police in October 2018.
That then prompted an investigation with Cleveland police.
The court documents state that the incident occurred sometime in 2017.
Bell’s attorney, Ian Friedman said Friday, “All facts will be revealed in a courtroom,” declining to comment further.
Bell was released on a $2500 bond from Cuyahoga County Jail Thursday. He has agreed to have no contact with the victim upon his release.
A pretrial conference has been set for June 23 at 12pm.
