A man is dead and two arrested after an altercation turned into a deadly shooting and SWAT standoff overnight in Irving.
According to reports a man got into an altercation with some friends on the 800 block of East 3rd St when the situation escalated and Guillermo Lorenzo allegedly shot the victim.
The victim was transported to Parkland hospital where he was pronounced dead and Irving police arrested Lorenzo at the scene.
He was taken to Irving City Jail and charged with murder. 
Alex Munoz was also at the scene and barricaded himself inside the home where the victim was shot.
SWAT was called out and convinced Munoz to surrender and he was also arrested and taken to Irving City Jail on unrelated warrants.
