A former Tennessee school teacher out on bond for sexually assaulting a student is facing new criminal charges.

On September 28, 38 year old Alissa McCommon was arrested at her home by Covington Police and charged with coercion of a witness, aggravated stalking and harassment.

On September 8, McCommon, a former fourth grade teacher was arrested on allegations of sexual misconduct and inappropriate contact with children under 18. She was released from jail on a $25,000 conditional bond, in which she could not make contact with her victims or any minors other than her own children.

Authorities received information that McCommon had reached out to her victim from an unknown number using a “code word” that she used to indicate the child was alone.

According to police she then sent multiple messages admitting to sexual encounters with the student as well as saying “he would regret doing this” along with nude pictures.

McCommon is currently being held at the Tipton County Jail without bond on charges of coercion of a witness, aggravated stalking, tampering with evidence, and harassment.
