A Fort Worth man accused of killing three people and leaving their dismembered bodies in a burning dumpster has been accused of slicing his roommates throat.

Jason Alan Thornburg,41 was indicted on murder in December after three bodies were found dismembered burning inside a dumpster in September.

The victims were identified as David Lueras,42, Lauren Phillips,34, and Maricruz Mathis,33.

On Friday a grand jury indicted Thornburg on a murder charge for the May killing of his roommate Mark Jewel.

Thornburg admitted to slicing Jewel,61 throat, uncapping a natural gas line and lighting a candle.

The home caught fire and when firefighters arrived and extinguished the fire they found Jewel’s deceased body.

Authorities also have reason to believe Thornburg is responsible for his girlfriend, Tanya Begay’s disappearance.

He remains in Tarrant County Jail on a $1,000,000 bond.

Begay’s body has yet to be found.
