Bennie Frank Johnson, 66, sexually assaulted and molested three generations of the same family. He has now been sentenced to life in prison.
On Monday, Johnson was given two life terms plus an additional five years. This came after he was convicted of rape, aggravated child molestation, and child molestation in February.
In 2018, Johnson had been arrested for sexually assaulting an 8-year-old girl since 2017. The girl’s mother disclosed to authorities that she had also been sexually abused by Johnson when she was a young girl.
At the trial, Johnson’s stepdaughter, stated that she, as well, had been sexually assaulted by Johnson. She said that the incidences happened when Johnson and her mother were married.
Johnson was found guilty on all counts.
“This is the beginning of breaking generational curses for my family,” the victim’s mother said at the sentencing hearing.
Johnson has been jailed, without bond, since he was apprehended.
