A teen was arrested Monday for a hit and run accident involving an 8 year old boy in Fort Worth.
Officers responded to a hit and run accident Saturday on the 3200 block of Strong Ave.
Upon arrival officers found the child who was then transported to Cook Children’s hospital with serious injuries.
During the investigation officers learned that the child had been struck by a pickup truck that did not stop to render aid or wait for police.
The mother protested and reached out to the public for assistance in locating the person that struck her son.
On Monday evening Ft. Worth police announced they arrested a juvenile in connection to the hit and run.
No further information regarding the arrest has been released due to the teens age.
