Kroger Changes COVID-19 Relief Policy, Excluding Unvaccinated Employees

Kroger has made changes to it’s policy for staff members. Under the new policy, Employees are no longer offered paid leave if they are unvaccinated and contract COVID-19.

Kroger will also add a $50 monthly surcharge to company health plans for unvaccinated managers. Unvaccinated workers who get the virus may use their earned paid time off or apply for unpaid leave.

Kroger explains they are hoping to encourage everyone to get vaccinated, protecting their staff and customers as well.
