A major accident took place Wednesday evening around 10:30pm Involving an 18 wheeler and truck that ended in a fiery explosion.
The accident took place on the 2700 block of Interstate 35E and started when a pickup truck was driving at a high speed recklessly and rear ended a 18 wheeler which cause the pickup to catch fire.
According to reports there were 3 good samaritans, one being an off duty Dallas Police Officer, who helped Lancaster P.D. pull the passengers from the vehicle.
The driver and passenger were both taken to a nearby hospital for their injuries and their condition is unknown at the time.
This accident is still under investigation.
