Kirk Albritton, from West Monroe, Louisiana, has been apprehended after confessing to sexually assaulting his adoptive daughter.
On April 29, an investigation was started after a teen girl told authorities that Albritton raped her several different times during a three-month time frame. She added that he had given her a tiny, white pill every time.
The victim also said that her adoptive father had been kissing and touching her for more than a year prior to raping her.
When Albritton was questioned by authorities, he confessed to having sexual intercourse with the teen. He also admitted to giving her a morning after pill twice, for precautionary measures.
The first incident occurred in August 2021 when the victim was 16.
Albritton has now been charged with third-degree rape and a charge of felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile.
His bond was set at $70,000.
