Man Arrested In Texas After Fatally Shooting A Woman At A Gas Station Pump

A man is in custody after he allegedly shot and killed a woman at a gas pump while calling her derogatory names in Cedar Park, Texas.

The incident occurred on june 2 at a Circle K on the 12000 block of Ranch Road 620. Apparently the suspect, 24 year old Jacob Stanford, was at the gas pump when he saw the victim, 24 year old Akira Ross, along with her girlfriend and another friend.

Authorities responded around 10 pm to find Ross lying on her back unresponsive. Emergency crews arrived and pronounced the woman dead at the scene.

While investigating officers reviewed surveillance cameras and noticed Ross and her girlfriend arguing t the pump. When her girlfriend entered the store Stanford walked over to the car and exchanged words with Ross.

He then went back to his vehicle where he retrieved a weapon and yelled out F****t before firing three rounds at Ross.

Stanford then fled the scene before officers could arrive. He was later arrested in a nearby apartment complex.

His bond is set at $1 million.
