Update: 22 year old faces multiple felony charges for shooting in the air around a crowded high school parking lot.
Warren police believe the shooting was connected to students who had been suspended from the school earlier in the day. Authorities believe the suspended students called someone who came to the school at the end of the day on Monday to engage in a fight. Between four and eight shots were fired into the air by at least one male suspect as students were boarding school busses.
Investigators said the shooter does not attend Michigan Collegiate High School and escaped in a car parked off campus.
