A man was arrested for raping a woman at gun point in a hotel in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Police arrived at Trade Winds Central Inn near 51st and Harvard regarding reports of a rape.

On September 27, a woman was standing by her room when a man dressed as a woman came up to her asking where he could buy drugs. She told him she didn’t have any drugs and then tried to shut the door.

According to the police, before she could shut the door, he pistol-whipped her over the head and forced her back into the room. He then raped the victim at gunpoint while the woman’s elderly friend was also in the room, according to the police.

The man raped her again and then ransacked her hotel room. He took her personal belongings and drove away in a yellow car.

The man was later identified as Brandon Herd. He was wearing a black wig, miniskirt, and black slides, according to the police.

An employee spotted Herd the next day and notified the police. The Tulsa Police Helicopter responded to the area, and they were able to locate Herd at a nearby convenience store. He was then taken into custody.

Herd had many of the woman’s items in his possession.

According to the police department, Herd is facing charges that include rape, robbery and failure to register as a sex offender.
