Man Found Deceased Inside A Dallas Apartment Trash Chute

Dallas police are investigating after a man was found deceased in an apartment trash chute on Valentine’s Day.

Authorities responded to a call of service on the 2300 block of Thomas Avenue, around 1:30 p.m.

Upon arriving they found a man deceased and are investigating it as an “unexplained death”. The man was later identified by the Dallas Medical Examiner as 28 year old Marcus Brown.

According to the Medical Examiner’s report Brown was found dead in a dumpster/trash chute at the Jordan apartments. His cause of death is still pending.

No further details have been released at this time. This investigation remains ongoing.
