Police are investigating a shooting that left a 30 year old man dead over the weekend.
On May 25, around 10:30 p.m., Dallas officers responded to a shooting call on the 8000 block of Rothington Road. Upon arrival they found the victim, Maurice Murphy, had been shot and was unresponsive. Emergency crews arrived and pronounced Murphy dead at the scene.
Authorities are working to determine hat led up to the fatal shooting and have made no arrest.
This investigation remains ongoing.
