Dallas police are investigating a shooting that left a man dead early Saturday morning.
Around 4:40 a.m. officers responded to a shooting call on the 7200 block of Chaucer Place. Upon arriving they found a man in the street suffering from a gunshot wound.
The man was transported to an area hospital where he died from his injuries. His identity will be released once the Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office confirm his identity.
Authorities have made no arrest at this time. The investigation remains ongoing.
