Money May Be Awarded To People Who Have Purchased Chicken In the Last 10 Years

2.1kviews

If you have purchased chicken items in the last 10 years, in the U.S., you may be able to get payments. This would come from a class-action settlement, including $181 million.

Broiler Chicken Antitrust Litigation, the prosecutors in the case, say that companies like Tyson, Fieldale, Mar-Jac, and Pilgrim’s, violated federal and state consumer and antitrust laws. They say the corporations “conspired to restrict the supply of, and fix, raise, and stabilize the price of chicken.”

The defendants have stated that the allegations are untrue.

A legal statement posted by one of the U.S. District Courts, says that anybody who bought chicken from Jan 1, 2009, to December 30, 2020 in many states, could get funds. A final approval will come in December 2021.

If you have bought fresh, frozen raw, whole-cut up chicken in a package, or white meat ( breasts and wings), you could be awarded money.

Go to www.overchargedchicken.com or call 1-877-888-5428 by December to check your eligibility.
