At around 3:50 p.m., on Feb. 20, 2024, a major accident occurred in the 8300 block of Spring Valley Road, west of US 75.
When Dallas Police and Fire and Rescue arrived to the location, they found that an adult female and her young daughter had been struck by a car. Both people were taken to a medical facility where they succumbed to their wounds.
The driver of the car stayed at the scene. It isn’t known if any charges will be filed.
An investigation is on-going.
