Murder On Eastbound LBJ Freeway And Haymarket Road

A 20-year-old-Black man, Reginald Jeffery, was located inside of a vehicle with gunshot wounds. Police discovered him on Thursday, December 23, 2021, at 7:38 p.m. on Eastbound LBJ Freeway at the Haymarket exit ramp.

Emergency crews took Jeffery to a medical facility where he was pronounced dead.

Observers at the scene stated that a dark-colored SUV may have been involved in the shooting. The investigation is continuing although the motive seems to be road rage.
