Police say a 23 year old woman was standing in front of a bar when a man tried to rob her.
Jonathan Tyrone Peace,28 was shot in the chest with a single gun shot wound after trying to rob a woman Friday night. The woman who shot the man then called police and stayed on the scene until they arrived.
The man was taken to a nearby hospital and treated for his non life threatening injuries. Police later obtained a warrant and arrested the man charging him with common law robbery.
