Former football player O.J. Simpson has been granted parole after being incarcerated for nine years in a Nevada prison.
Simpson who made headlines back in 1994 for the most controversial trial when he was acquitted for the murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ronald Goldman.
O.J. Simpson was arrested back in 2007 after him and some accomplices went into a Las Vegas hotel room with guns and took back several items that had belonged to him.
Simpson,70, will be granted parole on Oct.1,2017 after serving nine of the thirty three years he was given. Nevada Board of Commissioners based their decision off of Simpsons age and his good behavior while incarcerated.
