Oklahoma Man Arrested For Rape After Bringing 12 Year Old Pregnant Girlfriend To Hospital

An Oklahoma man was arrested last week after he brought a pregnant 12 year old to the hospital.
According to reports officers were called to a Tulsa hospital on July 14 regarding a rape case.
When officers arrived to the hospital they learned that Juan Miranda-Jara,24 had brought his pregnant 12 year old girlfriend to the hospital because she had went into labor.
He also admitted to officers that he and the victim had been together since September of 2020.
Officer Danny Bean said, ‘They walked in just like any other couple would, excited to deliver their newborn child.’
Miranda-Jara was arrested for first degree rape of a minor.
He remains in custody on a $50,000 bond.
The age of consent in Oklahoma is 16.
