A man was shot and killed in Magnolia Creek apartments in Dallas Tuesday afternoon. 
According to reports officers responded to a shooting call on the 7200 block of Marvin D. Love Freeway and when they arrived they found Derrick Ladon Woods,38 deceased laying in the apartment parking lot.
Woods was pronounced dead at the scene with a gunshot wound to the chest by medical examiners. 
Police have no suspect in custody and are asking the public if they have any information regarding this case to contact CRIMESTOPPERS.
