Producer Metro Boomin’s mother was killed by her husband, who isn’t Boomin’s father. The man then took his own life.
Leslie Wayne’s body was discovered by police, outside of Atlanta, Georgia, Friday night.
The family has requested privacy at this time, and an autopsy to determine her cause of death is pending.
Wayne raised Boomin and his three siblings in St.Louis. She was the producer’s greatest supporter as she would drive him the 17 hours to Atlanta in order to meet with other artists, regularly. The mother and son were said to have had a tight bond.
The identity of Wayne’s mate hasn’t been publicly revealed.
