On Friday, the champions were announced by Good Morning America in their yearly burger contest. Trill Burgers earned the gold. Bun B, whose real name is Bernard Freeman, was named the winner after receiving three out of five votes from the GMA judges. They competed against Philadelphia’s Lucky ‘s Last Chance, the Companion in Atlanta, and Miami’s Babe’s Meat & Counter of Miami.
“It’s so surreal that it doesn’t make sense to be in Time Square having won the best burger in America live on Good Morning America….Today, we got the ultimate validation. I can’t wait to bring this burger to America,” Bun B exclaimed.
The best burger in America is set to launch an official brick-and-mortar later this year.
