Last week, the teenage son of a TikTok star was killed at a gas station. He would have been 19 the following day. Authorities believe that the victim could have been selling marijuana when he was killed.
Ophelia Nichols, also known as @shoelover99 and Mama Tot, stated that, “My son was murdered,” in a recent TikTok post. “He was shot, and I have this hatred in my heart that I don’t recognize because I have never felt hate for anybody,” she said.
On June 24, 2022, Randon Lee was fatally shot in Pritchard, Alabama, at a gas station, close to Mobile, Alabama. Police say that two suspects have been identified.
“We do know at this time that Mr. Lee did have a relationship as far as selling to different individuals. These two individuals had bought from him in the past.”
Police say that Lee and the two suspects had arrived to gas pumps in their own cars. The two suspects can be seen, on surveillance recordings, entering Lee’s vehicle where he was shot. The pair then left the location in a dark-colored SUV.
After he suffered a single gunshot wound, Lee was still able to drive across the street but then died.
Prior to the shooting, authorities say that they didn’t know about Lee’s marijuana business.
No one has been apprehended in the matter.
Nichols explained why she took to social media. She called for her 7 million followers to help with any information on the killing of her son.
“People talk…so, I wanted that video to be seen… the person who did this to my son could see what he did to my family. He took my son from me. My son,” Nichols said.
