Teens Apprehended After $3.7 Million Worth Of Meth Discovered

On Wednesday, September 29, two males, in Kansas, were arrested after over 82 pounds of methamphetamine was found in their truck.

Authorities from the Neodesha Police Department stopped a 2006 Chevy Silverado for speeding.

Subsequent to probable cause to search the truck, the drugs were located. It held a street value of $3.7 million.

Driver Alejandro Salazar, a 19 year-old Dallas-native, was taken into custody. He is charged with methamphetamine with the intent to sell methamphetamine, possession of drug sale paraphernalia, and driving without a valid license.

19 year-old Roger Mercado, the passenger who is from Garland, Texas, was also arrested. He faces charges of possession with the intent to sell methamphetamine and possession of drug sale paraphernalia.

The two males were transported to the Wilson County Jail in Fredonia, Kansas.
