An East Texas election administrator has been arrested after two employees say she tricked them into drinking colon cleaner.
According to reports Denise Hernandez gave two employees a pink drink on April 27 and told them it was an energy drink.
After they drank the fluid, they say Hernandez pulled out a bottle of colon cleanser and began laughing at them.
The employees said their stomachs began to hurt and that they were in discomfort for the remainder of the day.
After only 3 months of being employed, Hernandez announced her resignation on May 3 after such a “childish incident.”
