On Friday, 31-year-old Roger Gonzalez, of San Antonio, Texas, slashed a woman’s throat, rolled her in plastic wrap and then dumped her body in a Texas field, authorities say.
Gonzalez was arrested at a residence in San Antonio the day after he viciously beat and stabbed a woman.
Fortunately, the woman was found alive on the side of the road by police several hours after the occurrence. She was transported to a medical facility where she was said to be in serious but stable condition.
Reports indicate that Gonzalez and the victim were in a relationship and that he was wearing an ankle monitor during the assault.
Gonzalez has been charged with first-degree aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and remains in jail on a $275,000 bond.
