Texas Police Chief And Officer Arrested For Delivering Drugs And Money Laundering

April Meadows, 37, the police chief of Payne Springs, Texas, and another police officer, Johnathan Hutchinson, 40, were taken into custody for delivering a controlled substance and money laundering.

The apprehension occured on Thursday when sheriff’s deputies discovered illegal drugs while executing a search warrant. They had been tipped off by an informant.

Authorities had searched the Payne Springs Police Department and a lot utilized by officers. In Meadows’ residence, in Kaufman County, they discovered methamphetamine and other drug paraphernalia.
