Two women and a toddler were killed after a wrong way driver collided with their vehicle in Seagoville, Texas.

On August 7th, around 1 a.m., Crandall police responded to reports that a blue Chevrolet pickup truck on U.S. Highway 175 was driving the wrong way traveling west in the eastbound lanes.

The truck accelerated when the police tried to get the wrong way driver’s attention by using the spotlights to illuminate the truck, police said. The pickup truck ended up colliding with a sedan near the intersection of U.S. Highway 175 and FM 1389 with three occupants inside.

There was only one man in the pickup truck he was taken to the hospital by a medical helicopter.

Police has issued a search warrant to obtain the blood test for alcohol in the wrong way driver.

This investigation is ongoing.
