Update: 20 year old deceased and a 17 year old listed in stable condition after shooting at Daniledale Park in Oak Cliff.
On February 19, 2024, at approximately 4:30 p.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting call in the 500 block of W. Wheatland Road. When officers arrived, they found 20-year-old Jeremiah Tutson and a 17-year-old male shot at the location. Dallas Fire Rescue responded and took the men to a local hospital where Tutson died from his injuries. The 17-year-old is hospitalized in stable condition.
The investigation is ongoing and documented under case number 028084-2024.
