On July 20 Dallas police responded to a shooting call in the 2300 block of Nicholson Drive, shortly after 11:30 a.m.
Upon arrival they learned that the suspect, 29 year old Eric Thomas, had gotten into an argument with the female victim. The two had gotten into an argument that escalated when Thomas pulled out a gun and shot her.
The female victim was transported to an area hospital where she died from her injuries.
Thomas was booked into Dallas County jail for murder with no bond.
