A Massachusetts woman had the scare of her life when she noticed a man sitting in her backseat while driving on her way home.
At around 1 a.m. Monday morning, a Yarmouth Police Officer came upon a disabled vehicle and a woman in a state of panic. The woman, who was trying to call 911 when the officer arrived, said there’d been a man hiding in the backseat of her vehicle.
According to the woman, she was heading home after hanging out at a friend’s house when she noticed the interior light of her car came on. When the light illuminated, she saw a man covering his face with a jacket. Out of shock, the woman began driving erratically, which caused the man to fall out of the door that he’d opened.
Officers later found and arrested 36-year-old Jailton Dos Santos. He was charged with breaking and entering into a vehicle.
