Megan Elizabeth Smith,32 of Royse City was placed into Hunt County Jail and charged with intoxication manslaughter with a vehicle.
According to reports Smith was involved with the wrong way crash that claimed the life of Justice David Bridges on July 25, 2020 in front of Bucee’s in Royse City.
Bridges was pronounced dead at the scene and Smith was taken to the hospital for treatment prior to being booked into Hunt County.
Smith also has prior charges of driving intoxicated from 2015.
Her bond has been set at $150,000
