Dallas police are investigating after a 2 year old boy accidentally shot himself in the leg Friday afternoon.
Officers responded to a shooting call on the 3500 block of Munger Ave around 1pm.
Upon arrival they found the boy suffering from a gunshot wound.
He was transported to Children’s Medical Center in Dallas in stable condition.
Authorities are investigating to determine how the child got possession of the handgun.
No charges have been filed at this time.
The investigation remains ongoing.
