A 20 year old man has been arrested for the murder of a 65 year old Dallas man.
On May 17, around 5 a.m. officers responded to a shooting call on the 6700 block of Eastridge Drive.
Upon arrival they found the victim, 65 year old Joseph Syas laying unresponsive on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound to the face. Emergency crews arrived and pronounced him dead at the scene.
On June 1 officers arrested 20 year old Kevin Sheffield for murder.
He is currently being held in the Dallas County jail on a $3 million bond.
