A 28 year Dallas PD veteran was arrested in Mesquite early Monday morning for DWI.
Mesquite police say they received multiple calls about a person driving erratically.
When officers pulled the vehicle over they learned it was Dallas PD veteran, 54 year old Joe Morin. He was arrested for DWI.
Morin is a detective assigned to the Public Integrity Unit and has been with the force since 1994.
He has been placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation.
