Dallas police are investigating a shooting that left a 33 year old woman deceased.
Officers responded to a shooting call Sunday around 2:30 am on the 2000 block of E. 8th Street.
Upon arrival they found Doris Ramirez,33 suffering from a gunshot wound.
She was transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
On Monday May 17 Ramirez died in the hospital from her injuries.
It motive for the shooting is unclear at this time.
The investigation remains ongoing.
