Herb’N Eden is an all-natural bath and beauty business that was started in Atlanta, Georgia. The company has now landed a $1.2 million investment deal in order to grow their business.

In 2015, Quinton and Terran Lewis started Herb’N Eden. Their goal was to bring natural skincare items to the market.

Mercantile Venture Capital has invested in the company along with The Core Venture Studio.

With the investment money, the owners will be able to meet customers’ demand without comprising what has led them to this point: their all-natural therapeutic products.

“We know Black-owned businesses face challenges around funding and equitable partnerships. For us, it was important we remain the majority owners and stay faithful to the tried-and-true process our supporters count on us for,” said Terran Lewis.

Before now, Herb’N Eden received money through grassroots efforts. This included in-house marketing, employing local workers, and keeping up with the path of product development. Investors were pleased with how well the company did even during the pandemic.

“From $260,000 in 2020 to $2.6 million in 2021, during the pandemic, is remarkable,” stated a co-founder of The Core Venture  Studio.

“It’s amazing to see what we could accomplish in such a short amount of time. In two to five years, we hope to continue to scale our business with the resources and connections made while also investing into the dreams of other Black entrepreneurs,” Quinton stated.
