Two people were killed in a car crash in McKinney Friday evening.
McKinney Police responded to a crash on 380 and Stonebridge Drive where they found two vehicles involved in a crash.
Through officer’s investigation, they discovered that a sedan was traveling eastbound on 380 when it slowed down for the yellow traffic light. A pickup truck that was also traveling eastbound on 380, directly behind the sedan, rear-ended the vehicle.
The four occupants of the sedan were transported to the hospital where two of them died.
The driver of the pickup was not injured.
Detectives are interviewing witnesses, as well as the driver of the pickup.
