Muscletopia gym in Phoenix, Arizona, has come up with a way to capitalize on Will Smith’s slapping of Chris Rock during the Academy Awards.
They have placed a banner on the outside of their facility that is directed at people who are on a healthy lifestyle journey. The gym is also located close to a fast-food restaurant.
The poster depicts the instant that Will Smith slapped Rock. It then reads, “Keep That Burger Out Of Your Mouth.” This was done to mimic the words that Smith stated to Rock, when telling him to keep his wife’s, Jada Pinkett Smith, name out of his mouth.
Ivan Almonte, the owner of the gym, expressed that they have been discussing what happened and health and fitness with their clients.
“…we’re going to talk about what’s right. We’re going to talk about how important it is to be healthy…about how important it is to have self-restraint…”
After the now-popular slap, Smith stated that he would be withdrawing from the Academy. However, the Academy has said that more disciplinary measures could still be taken.
