Frisco police are investigating after a man was fatally shot in the parking garage of an apartment complex early Wednesday morning.
Officers responded to a weapons call at the Lucia apartments located on the 4800 block of Grand Gate Way.
Upon arrival officers found the victim, Donovan Stephney,30 lying on the ground of the parking garage with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers also found the suspect Kennari Johnson,31 still on the scene. He was arrested for murder. His bond is set at $250,000.
Authorities are still investigating to determine what led up to the fatal shooting. It is believed that the suspect and victim knew each other prior to the incident.
This investigation is ongoing.
