Starting February 22, 2022, if a deputy pulls someone over, in Dallas County, because of a minor equipment infraction, they may be provided with a $25 Advance Auto Parts gift card by the deputy.
This has been put into place to help drivers in fixing problems with their cars.
The Dallas Sheriff’s department has stated that this will continue while supplies last.
The have also expressed their gratitude to Advance Auto Parts for assisting in driver safety.
