The Balch Springs Police Department is investigating a death after a juvenile was found dead outside an elementary school Tuesday morning.
Gray Elementary School, a Mesquite ISD school located in Balch Springs near Elam and Pioneer, was crowded with police vehicles nearby as children attended school.
The school district, however, has stated that all students and staff members are safe and not involved with the situation.
The identification of the deceased juvenile or further information has not been released at this time.
