22-year-old Zacharie Scott was apprehended at John F. Kennedy Airport in NYC after he was accused of trying to smuggle cocaine inside bags of frozen jumbo shrimp.

Scott, who resides in Guyana, but has U.S. citizenship, is accused of hiding bricks of the substance inside shrimp bags to keep the cocaine covered up.

Officials say that a field test was conducted, confirming that the 40-pound substance was cocaine. After being questioned, Scott admitted that he was smuggling the drugs for money.

On Tuesday, Scott will appear in court for a bail hearing. If he is found guilty, he could receive up to 20 years in prison.
